GMB met with you on Wednesday 24th May to discuss the updated negotiated position we had reached with Tayside Contracts.
Both us as the Trade Union, and Tayside Contracts as the new employer were very conscious that you all expressed concerns with the formula that had been used to previously provide offers, and we had a positive meeting with Tayside Contracts where they agreed to apply your wishes to the formula for transfer.
At the meeting on Wednesday, you overwhelmingly voted to agree the transfer under the terms of the collectively bargained agreement, with the transfer occurring on 1st June to your new employer.
Tayside Contracts enters into collective bargaining over any issue related to terms and conditions, and we would welcome more of you to become reps to ensure involvement from members who do the job.
