We were notified that the meeting has been postponed for today. We understand that this may be disappointing as we know that many of you would like to see a conclusion to the home care review to allow you to plan for the future.
We understand that management have been working to pull together a review of the service and also how the new teams may be structured across the city.
This has not been concluded which means they are not yet at the stage to present proposals to us.
GMB remain committed to the principal that those of you who wish to be able to do the split shifts can, whilst those of you who can’t, for any reason are not forced to.
Members will have the opportunity to have a say on whether you agree to the changes or not – GMB will never enter into any agreements without consulting you first, and GMB remains by far the largest majority of homecare workers in Dundee.
