GMB have received news that the planned Trade Union Consultation Meeting arranged for Friday 15th March has been cancelled by the LACD Leisure & Sport Management Team.
As yet we are unaware of the reasoning behind the cancellation of this meeting. As previously communicated the meeting was arranged to discuss the LACD Leisure & Sport Section cost saving proposals for its 2019/2020 budget.
At this stage we are unsure if the proposed cost savings have been withdrawn or if alternative cost saving measures have been sought to reduce the burden on front line staffing.
GMB will seek further clarification and cascade this information accordingly to all our members. GMB is always on your side fighting to protect your terms and conditions.
