We received a copy of the letter that is being given to you regarding the new contract.
This letter talks about the trade unions being consulted but fails to tell you that neither GMB nor Unison agreed or otherwise to the proposals. It also fails to tell you that if you do not agree to the new contract then you will be entitled to pay protection.
We cannot stress to you enough that you should not feel under any pressure to accept a contract which asks you to reduce your contractual pay or give away all of your public holidays in place of annual leave. Whether you accept the new contract or not has to be your decision.
