Tayside Contracts have consistently promised that no one would suffer any detriment as a result of moving to the Central Production Unit.

Meetings started yesterday, where GMB were not invited to every meeting and some of you were upset with the news that was delivered. We have now met with TC management and they have advised that the information that was given out yesterday was incorrect and that they are still committed to ensuring you will not suffer any detriment.

We are clear. No one should be losing hours, or being told they are ‘out of a job’. That would be absolute red lines for us.

We have now had a commitment that your rep, Steph will be able to attend all of the meetings to ensure you are supported and will have an opportunity to speak with Steph to discuss any concerns you may have.
