Dear member,

Tayside Contracts will be writing to cleaners to request that they want cleaners back on a different week, due to the councils requesting the deep clean be done earlier. GMB have negotiated the 3 x your rate for these dates and we welcome TC taking this on board recognising the impact that this temporary change will have on members.

Where you are going to have childcare issues, please contact your manager and if there are issues getting this resolved please contact your rep or dundee@gmb.org.uk

We will raised the issue of PPE for the deep clean, as we know that some of you are concerned about this and we will be back out to advise you of this over the next few days.

Finally, we would like to please ask that if you are on Universal Credit or Tax credits and that getting this extra payment would push you above any thresholds for the year and impact your payments, leading to you being put in financial difficulties, then please as above raise with your manager and then if required get in touch with your rep or dundee@gmb.org.uk
