UPDATE FOR HCA BAND 2

Dear member,

We met with NHS Tayside to discuss the HCA Band 2 regrading. The following process has been put in place:

Line managers (staff nurse or equivalents) will be briefed by the 2 of Nov.

They will then be given 3 weeks to complete the regrading form for all Healthcare Assistants at band 2.

This time will be varied work for any staff on maternity leave or long term sick leave, to ensure fairness.

If you have any questions regrading this or if you would like to become more active in the union, we are always looking for reps, especially in the NHS. Full training and support and appropriate time to prepare and attend meetings is given.
