FAO All TC School Members

Dear Member
If you feel that the risk assessment is not robust enough for your workplace or job you must let your line manager know to allow Tayside Contracts to ensure this is done for each individual school.
If you feel that you do not have appropriate PPE , then you must raise this with your line manager and let us know if this is not resolved.
If you go to work on public transport, please speak with your line manager to see if there are any alternatives that can be found for you.
You can refuse to put yourself in danger under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 – this may be appropriate if safe working practices have not been put in place.
You must be able to maintain a 2 metre distance from each other, other workers and children. If you cannot maintain social distancing, then appropriate PPE must be provided for you.
When escalating an issue, please contact your line manager in the first instance. If this is not resolved at this stage, ideally their line manager should be contacted however if you feel that you are raising a Health and Safety issue and it is not being resolved then please let us know by contacting us to allow us to raise this.
