Dear Members
This Saturday, 1st June, we will be leafleting in the Strathmartine Ward, where the leader of the Council and the Lord Provost are elected. We want to encourage the residents in that area to support your campaign to protect jobs and services in Dundee City Council and Leisure and Culture Dundee.
We are looking for volunteers, and it would fantastic if some of you could join us to send a strong message. Meet at the Macalpine shops at 11.00 am. You will be put in teams of 3 or 4 and given a route to follow. This will only last for a couple of hours.
It’s really important that you get involved to help protect your jobs.
You can also find your own councillor and write to them, or visit their surgery to ask them what they are doing to help protect your terms of employment simply by following this link:

Encourage your friends and families too, and speak to your colleagues to make sure they’ve voted.
Say no to redundancies, say no to the council imposing worse terms on YOU, vote YES for action and YES for action short of strike. Your jobs and the services Dundonians rely on depend on it.
