We queried the SCRS jobs being advertised internally which could mean a reduction in homecare jobs.
DCC have now confirmed that these will be advertised externally which is good news as it means more jobs.
We’ve also been advised that sessional posts will be advertised for homecare to relieve some pressure until DCC can work out how many permanent posts will be required.
We will work to make any sessional or casual posts permanent.
If you become aware of any new starts can you please let your union know as it’s better for all of you if you are in a union.
