After your previous meeting with Jimmy Burke and Ian Geekie, we would like to meet with you again this Thursday, 24th August at 11.00 am in the GMB Office in Whitehall Street in Dundee.
We have sought some clarification around some of the proposals and would like to be able to discuss this with you. Dundee City Council have been clear that they want an answer on the proposals by Friday 25th August, therefore you will have an opportunity to vote on this once we have had the opportunity to discuss them.
GMB would never agree to anything that affects you at work without you having a say. It’s therefore really important that every member that is affected attends.
We have sent this to everyone we have email addresses and/or texts for who we believe is affected – if you are aware of a colleague who has not received any communication regarding Thursday’s meeting who is a member of the GMB, then please make them aware of this.
If there is anyone who is not a member of any union, then they can come along and vote as long as they join on the day.
We will have membership lists and update forms to make sure we get your contact details updated to allow us to communicate with you.
