We have met with Dundee City Council management this morning after having requested that they withdraw the imposition to changes to your terms and conditions to allow us to have meaningful discussions.
This request was refused.
Your reps now feel that there is no choice but to move forward with a formal ballot. We are recommending that you vote YES to both questions.
To be clear, we have been holding several different ballots recently and this will be one for everyone in Dundee City Council and Leisure and Culture Dundee regardless of whether you have already voted or not.
The ballot paper will be sent directly to your home as we have to carry it out this way by law – if you have recently moved house or have not had any correspondence from us recently, then please call us on 01382 225491 – leave a message if no one answers your call with contact details and we will call you back and make sure your details are updated.
We will issue regular communications however it is absolutely vital that you vote – any action will be strategic and will be in consultation with you and your representatives.
