GMB received an email last night (02.07.19) from HR, stating that anyone who does not accept the new contracts on offer will not receive cash conservation.
It is our view, that these are bullying tactics being used to force you into voluntarily accepting the new contracts and in doing so, making you accept lesser pay and terms and conditions. GMB have replied to ask Angus Council to reconsider this position.
If any GMB members have been told this by HR or anyone else, once you have decided not to accept the new contracts, then please contact us urgently on 01382 225 491. Your GMB organiser can then put steps in place to challenge this with Angus Council.
